Seyfarth's Representation of Anchorage in $180M Port Settlement Featured in Law360

Seyfarth represented the Municipality of Anchorage in securing a $180 million settlement from the federal government, resolving a more than 12-year dispute over the failed Port of Alaska expansion and upgrade project.

Law360, in its coverage of the settlement, highlighted Anchorage's successful claims against the US Maritime Administration related to contractual agreements governing the Port of Anchorage Intermodal Expansion Project. The settlement will support ongoing modernization efforts at the Don Young Port of Alaska, a critical infrastructure hub serving approximately 90% of Alaska's population.
