Seyfarth is pleased to announce that lawyers Stacy Paek (Real Estate Partner - Los Angeles),  Jade M. Gilstrap (Labor & Employment Associate - Atlanta), and Leo Q. Li (Labor & Employment Associate - Los Angeles) have been selected to the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD).

Paek was named a member of the 2020 class of Fellows. The landmark Fellows Program was created by LCLD to identify, train, and advance the next generation of leaders in the legal profession. The program is designed to connect high-potential attorneys from preeminent organizations for a year-long professional development series that focuses on leadership and relationship building. The LCLD Fellows Program, which has trained more than a 1,600 mid-career attorneys since 2011, is one of LCLD’s most important initiatives.

Gilstrap and Li were named members of the 2020 class of Pathfinders, participating in a program designed by LCLD to train early-career attorneys in critical career development strategies including leadership and the building of professional networks. The Pathfinder Program is designed to connect high-potential attorneys from preeminent organizations for a six- to seven month professional development series that focuses on foundational leadership skills, professional networks and relationship building skills, and career development strategies. The program is now in its fifth year as a full-scale program, having been piloted in 2015 among a select number of LCLD Member law firms and corporations. It is an initiative that has filled a gap in LCLD programming, targeting junior associates and the youngest members of corporate law departments.

Founded in 2009, LCLD is a growing organization of more than 320 corporate chief legal officers and law firm managing partners who are personally committed to creating a more diverse and inclusive legal profession. To learn more, visit here.
