DeGroff commented on the current state of enforcement by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), noting that, while activity has slowed due to a lack of quorum, employers should not assume this trend will continue, saying that “ It would be dangerous for employers to believe that the EEOC has taken its foot off the gas based off these fiscal year numbers,” and the agency is likely “keeping its powder dry” for 2026.
