About the Program

In today’s polarized social and political climate, cultural flashpoints—ranging from international conflicts to debates over diversity, religion, and gender identity—are increasingly surfacing in the workplace. These issues can quickly escalate into high-stakes internal investigations and public-facing litigation, posing significant legal, reputational, and operational risks for employers. As recent cases and regulatory developments show, employers must be prepared to respond with cultural literacy, legal precision, and strategic foresight.

Join our experienced attorneys as they explore how to manage these challenges while upholding core values and minimizing exposure. Key topics to be discussed:

  • The Rise of Flashpoints Litigation: Understanding the legal and reputational risks when workplace disputes intersect with polarizing cultural or political issues.
  • Best Practices for Internal Investigations: How to conduct culturally competent, legally sound investigations that can withstand public and legal scrutiny.
  • Strategic Litigation Defense: Tactics for managing bias, media attention, and jury dynamics in flashpoints-related employment litigation.
