David delivers strategic legal advice customized to each client’s specific size and industry. His extensive experience with clients ranging from small contractors and restaurants to Fortune 10 companies has honed his ability to tailor legal advice and solutions to fit each client's unique needs, delivering guidance in clear, accessible terms. With every client, he takes the time to learn the ins and outs of their business in order to better understand their legal needs and address their particular challenges.
In his traditional labor practice, David assists clients with matters involving collective bargaining, National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) investigations, and litigation in unfair labor practice and representation proceedings. He has extensive experience representing management in contract administration and negotiations, union organizing campaigns, corporate campaigns, and labor arbitrations. Additionally, David has experience in counseling C-suite level executives on employee relations and union avoidance. He takes a proactive approach to counseling and guiding clients facing corporate campaigns by providing positive employees relations training and completing organizational assessments.
As a litigator, David represents employers in a variety of matters in both New Jersey and New York state and federal courts, and before governmental agencies. David defends clients against claims arising from Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, and similar state and local laws, including the New Jersey Law Against Discrimination and the New Jersey Conscientious Employee Protection Act. David also has significant experience in handling employment practices liability insurance claims.
Prior to joining Seyfarth, David was an associate in the labor management relations department of an international law firm.
