Whether they are seeking advice on labor issues or facing litigation in a wage-and-hour matter, John advises clients on ways to avoid or minimize legal risk, while also guiding clients through the litigation process. John has litigated in a variety of forums, from the agency level to state superior and federal district courts.
Prior to practicing law, John worked as an advocate for employers at the North San Diego Chamber of Commerce. His experience working closely with and advocating for the interests of employers has made John keenly aware of the legal issues they face. The depth of knowledge he gained while working for the Chamber allowed him to more easily understand the concerns of employers, and to better advise them as their counselor.
John has assisted clients with successfully defending union grievances pressed through arbitration. He has helped defend multiple complex wage-and-hour class action cases in several different stages of litigation throughout Massachusetts and beyond.
