More About Kristie

As a former data analyst, Kristie brings a distinctive data-driven perspective to employment counseling and risk management. She helps employers leverage workforce data to assess employment practices, identify potential legal risks, and develop proactive strategies that support compliance while advancing business objectives.

Kristie has developed a particular focus on equal pay, pay transparency, and pay reporting compliance. She advises employers on navigating the rapidly evolving patchwork of US equal pay and pay transparency laws. She works closely with Seyfarth's labor economists and analytics professionals to conduct privileged pay equity and pay gap assessments, develop remediation strategies, and design sustainable compensation practices.

Kristie also regularly advises global employers on the legal and operational challenges associated with the EU Pay Transparency Directive and related national legislation. She counsels organizations on multi-country compliance strategies, pay gap reporting obligations, pay structure design, employee communications, works council considerations, and other practical implementation challenges, helping employers harmonize compliance efforts across jurisdictions while minimizing operations burden and litigation risk.

Kristie also counsels employers on workplace diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, equal employment opportunity obligations, federal contractor compliance, and the use of artificial intelligence in employment decision-making. She regularly conducts risk assessments of DEI programs, advises on legally defensible workplace initiatives, and represents employers responding to discrimination, retaliation, and pay equity claims before the EEOC, OFCCP, and state agencies.

Whether defending employment discrimination claims, conducting workforce analyses, or helping organizations adapt to the evolving legal landscape, Kristie delivers strategic, tailored solutions designed to reduce risk and support business objectives.
