More About Paxton
In an ideal world, the employer-employee relationship is mutually respectful and free of strife. When reality doesn’t meet this ideal, clients look to Paxton for legal advice and guidance on the more challenging aspects of the labor and employment landscape.
Paxton’s background in general litigation gives him a unique perspective on the specific challenges that both employers and employees must address. Paxton has represented a variety of employers in defense of health and safety citations brought by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration. Additionally, he has successfully defended a municipality against baseless racial discrimination, harassment, and retaliation claims in federal court.
Paxton’s top priority is assessing his clients’ needs and expectations because he knows there is no one-size-fits-all approach to solving employer-employee disputes. An effective communicator, he provides concise and informative updates to his clients throughout the process.
In addition to his cooperative spirit, Paxton brings a passion to navigating and solving problems that do not have simple or obvious solutions. Clients can rely on him for his compassion, patience, and work ethic. He appreciates having the opportunity to wake up every day and try to make his clients’ lives better.
Further, as a member of the firm's ADA Title III Specialty practice team, Paxton defends and advises public accommodations in matters arising under Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, and other state and local laws concerning disability access.
