Rob represents private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies in high-value, complex M&A transactions across the full deal cycle, including intricacies such as platform and add-on acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, growth investments, and exits. He works closely with investment professionals, management teams, and other stakeholders so they can execute high-stakes, sophisticated transactions efficiently and with strong commercial acumen.
Rob also advises strategic companies and founders on domestic and cross-border acquisitions, dispositions, and other transformative transactions, as well as ongoing corporate matters. He is known for his pragmatic, business-oriented approach, his ability to adeptly lead large, cross-functional deal teams in high-stakes transactions, and his experience across a wide range of industries, including financial services, technology, health care and medical devices, industrials, ed tech, and sports.
Prior to joining Seyfarth, Rob was a corporate partner at an Am Law 100 firm, where he focused on private equity and M&A transactions. He has also served as in-house corporate and M&A counsel for a leading private equity-backed ed tech company, giving him a unique perspective on aligning legal strategy with business objectives.
