More About Lynn

Clients can rest easily when facing a trial if they are working with Lynn, a seasoned trial attorney and chair of the firm's Trial group. She is the one you want to run your trial when your back is against the wall.

Lynn brings to each case the knowledge of what it takes to go to trial and win. She manages a number of large, national client portfolios, providing strategic and efficient support for clients in their employment litigation matters across the country, whether large or small, simple or complex. She also has significant experience working on non-compete and trade secrets litigation, taking many cases to evidentiary hearing and trial.

Lynn began her practice as a commercial litigator, but since the 1990s, her practice has focused on employment litigation, trials, class action discrimination cases, non-competition, and trade secrets disputes. She has handled multiplaintiff and class action trials, as well as single-plaintiff trials and arbitrations in state and federal courts all across the country.

Lynn also regularly guides clients through internal investigations, often at the executive level, helping them to navigate highly sensitive and confidential situations to protect their business and reputation. This includes working with clients on a strategic post-investigation plan, involving steps such as discipline, trainings, internal messaging, and changes to policies and processes.

In addition to chairing Seyfarth's Trials team, she is chair of the firm’s national Retail, Wholesale & Distribution industry group, liaising with a number of national retail industry groups to keep the challenges and solutions for retail clients top of mind every day. She is also leading the firm’s Health Care, Life Sciences & Pharmaceuticals industry group. With a number of clients in this industry, she is helping to shape policy and practice for the life sciences workplace of the future.

Lynn is comfortable working within all sorts of alternative fee arrangements, and she regularly employs online budgeting and settlement templates to help drive efficiency and consistency.

Lynn welcomes the opportunity to work with clients across industries to understand their business models, to help them solve the problems, and to win the complex and contentious cases that keep them awake at night. She enjoys working at Seyfarth because her colleagues, as well as the firm's technical resources, help her to better serve her clients.
