David Baffa quoted in Bloomberg BNA

David Baffa was quoted in a February 8 story “YAHOO LAWSUIT HIGHLIGHTS PERFORMANCE REVIEW PITFALLS” from Bloomberg BNA on how performance reviews and rankings can open a business up to legal risk. Baffa said that performance ratings can be used in workforce reduction, but legal counsel should have input on how it’s carried out to make sure there aren’t any patterns or disparate treatment of employees in protected groups, such as race, gender or age.
