Sarah defends and counsels clients in all facets of labor and employment law and litigation—from class and collective actions to individual plaintiff lawsuits and administrative charges.

Employers facing the complex, multilayered issues that arise from employee relations turn to Sarah for representation and counsel on all labor and employment law matters. Sarah’s employment litigation practice spans state and federal courts and includes class and collective actions, as well as defending claims of discrimination, harassment, wage and hour, breach of contract, and the Biometric Information Privacy Act. Sarah also represents clients in the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and other administrative law proceedings by drafting position statements, conducting witness interviews, and first-chairing mediations. She has experience counseling employers on a wide array of legal issues and drafting various employee agreements and policies, and has also advised on a range of employment issues in connection with the COVID-19 pandemic.
While still in college, Sarah started as a legal assistant at a boutique labor and employment firm in Indianapolis. She then worked in the retirement sector of the Michigan Department of Attorney General and completed a federal clerkship, where she developed her skills in addressing complex labor and employment law issues. This experience has provided Sarah with a unique insight into her clients’ litigation needs under federal and state employment laws.
Sarah loves the human aspects of employment law, and enjoys solving the challenges that come with litigation. She skillfully balances being a zealous advocate for her clients when faced with disputes, and taking a friendly approach to problem-solving.
