(January 19, 2022) -- Seyfarth announced today the arrival of four partners across its global platform. The new partners join three Seyfarth departments and three of the firm’s offices in the US and Asia.

“We’re excited to start the new year by welcoming this talented group of lawyers to many of the firm’s departments and offices,” Seyfarth chair and managing partner Pete Miller said. “As client demand grows across all our practice areas, we’ll continue to strategically add the very best to our worldwide team.”

About the New Partners:

  • Kamran Mirrafati rejoins Seyfarth’s Labor & Employment department and Labor Management Relations practice group in Los Angeles. Mirrafati returns to Seyfarth from Foley & Lardner where he served as a partner in its Labor & Employment department in Los Angeles.

Mirrafati defends employers in a wide range of employment litigation and arbitration matters involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, leaves of absence, breaches of contract, and wage and hour class actions. He also advises employers on labor arbitrations, unfair labor practice charges, and union election proceedings before the National Labor Relations Board.

Mirrafati received his J.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles where he served as editor of the UCLA Law Review. He also earned a B.S. in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics from the University of California, Los Angeles.

Seyfarth announced the formal launch of its Seattle office in 2020, the firm’s first in the Pacific Northwest and fifth on the West Coast. Seyfarth’s Seattle office is currently comprised of 30 lawyers, including 17 partners, from a cross-section of the firm’s nationally ranked departments.

Douris received a J.D. from the Brooklyn Law School where she was a member of the Moot Court Honor Society and earned her B.A. from the College of William and Mary.
